Security Audit Systems provide penetration testing services using the latest 'real world' attack techniques, giving our clients the most in-depth and accurate information to help mitigate potential threats to their online assets.
1. Introduction and registration requirements
a. The online penetration testing tools (the Tools) made available at http://tools.security-audit.com (the Site) are provided by Security Audit Systems (SAS), a trading name of Netzen Solutions Ltd which is an English company (no. 5618617) registered at 1 Market Hill, Calne, Wiltshire SN11 0BT, United Kingdom.
b. The Tools are only accessible to registered users of the Site. To register, we require the full name of the individual user who will be accessing the Tools and the name and contact details of the business he or she represents.
d. You acknowledge that only You may access the Site using your registered account and that You are fully responsible for the security and confidentiality of Your registered account and You agree to notify SAS immediately if you suspect or confirm unauthorised use of Your account. You acknowledge that if we suspect unauthorised use of Your account we may suspend access to it without providing notice to you.
e. By registering You consent to SAS contacting you for marketing purposes and you acknowledge that SAS may use aggregated anonymised data collected from users of the Site and the Tools for any purpose and in any format.
f. If You or any third party suspects that the Tools have been abused or misused in any way, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org in the first instance.
a. You acknowledge that the Tools include free and licensed tools supplied by third parties (Third Party Software). SAS provides access to such Third Party Software via the Site to You with the permission of its licensors and/or copyright holders on the terms provided by such parties. SAS expressly disclaims any warranty or other
assurance to you regarding the Third Party Software.
b. You acknowledge that the results of the use of the Tools and any PDF file reporting the results of Your use of the Tools which is downloaded or emailed to You from the Site (Reports) and all other intellectual property rights in the Site belong to SAS.
c. Subject to your compliance with these terms SAS grants You a worldwide royalty free non-transferable non-assignable licence to use the Reports for Your own internal business security and auditing purposes.
3. Use of the Tools
You agree and confirm that:
a. You will only use the Site to access the Tools and the Reports and You shall not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile or or otherwise use the Site or the Tools for any purpose which may damage, disable, overburden or materially impair access to the Site or the Tools, or which is likely to interfere with any other person's use or enjoyment of the Site or the Tools,
b. You will only use the Tools to scan hostnames or IP addresses which are owned by You or for which You have full authority and consent to scan, and
c. You are not a competitor of SAS and You will not use the Site or the Tools for any commercial purpose whatsoever, except as permitted by these terms, and You will not share the Reports with any third party.
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold SAS harmless against any claims, actions, proceedings, losses, damages, expenses and costs (including without limitation court costs and legal fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site or the Tools, provided that SAS notifies you promptly of any such claim and that SAS reasonably cooperates with You in the defence and settlement of such claim (at Your expense) and that You are given sole authority to defend or settle such claim.
a. You acknowledge that access to the Site, the Tools and the Reports are provided to You 'as-is' and free of charge and that Your use of them is entirely at your own risk, and to the maximum extent permitted by law SAS expressly excludes all liability for any amount or kind of loss or damage arising in connection with Your use of the Site, the Tools or the Reports.
b. You acknowledge that we provide no support for Your use of the Tools or the Site.
d. You acknowledge that SAS may terminate Your access to the Site or the Tools at any time.
e. If SAS ignores or fails to enforce any breach of these terms, this does not mean SAS cannot enforce its rights in the future. If any part of these terms is found to be invalid by a court, it shall be replaced with a similar provision which achieves the same purpose as the original, so far as is possible, with the remainder of the terms remaining unaffected.
f. These terms are governed by and are to be interpreted in accordance with English law. If any dispute arises between You and SAS such dispute may only be heard in the English courts.
